If you're using Smart STB, we strongly recommend updating your Virtual MAC address to a customized one.
Why?
We've seen a high number of hacks and unauthorized access targeting virtual MACs, especially those starting with 00:1A:79. This often results in black screens or blocked service.
What to do:
1. Use a free MAC address generator such as https://miniwebtool.com/mac-address-generator/ to create a new custom MAC address (avoid 00:1A:79).
Make sure to select this format XX:XX:XX:XX:XX:XX
2. Follow this official guide to change your Virtual MAC:

3. Log in to your client area on hostvpn.xyz
4. Go to My Services → Your Subscription → Update MAC Address
5. Save your changes
This simple update can secure your access and prevent service disruptions.
